This year, we proudly built on one of our most exciting milestones from late 2023, the integration of LW-DED technology into our portfolio through the revolutionary Meltio Engine robot. This cutting-edge technology has significantly expanded our capabilities, giving us the ability to produce complex, geometrically sophisticated components with exceptional precision and efficiency. Whether it’s titanium alloys, stainless steel, Haynes, or other advanced materials, our flexibility and capacity have reached new heights. Collaboration has also played a defining role in our successes throughout 2024. Fastech has continued to be a proud and active partner of the Navy’s Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AMCoE) in Danville, VA. Together, we are helping to advance the Navy’s technological edge in the fast-evolving field of additive manufacturing. Additionally, we’ve deepened our involvement in the Center of Manufacturing Advancement (CMA) and the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR), participating in programs like Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) and internships hosted at our HQ in Danville. These initiatives are vital in shaping the future of manufacturing talent and reinforcing the industry’s overall growth and competitiveness.
This year, we had the honor of supporting the US Army’s modernization efforts at the celebrated AUSA 2024 event. We held impactful discussions with esteemed leaders like Chief Brian Bergeron, Charles F. Johnson, Elfonso Green, General Ray, and Three-star General Leonard. These exchanges underscored the importance of collaboration in driving transformation within defense manufacturing and beyond.
Beyond defense, spreading awareness and fostering innovation in additive manufacturing remained key priorities for us in 2024. Through our active membership with America Makes, we participated in the renowned TRX Technical Review & Exchange, reinforcing our commitment to driving industry-wide progress. Another remarkable opportunity this year was our invitation to partner with Genedge and NASA at their Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain event. This engagement showcased our expertise and provided a platform to share insights on enhancing research, innovation, and process optimization through the effective deployment of additive manufacturing technologies.
We have proudly taken part in leading industry events, including IMTS, Rapid+TCT, AMUG and MILAM 2024, showcasing our commitment to innovation and collaboration within the manufacturing and additive manufacturing sectors. These events are pivotal in the world of manufacturing and additive, serving as platforms for innovation, learning, and collaboration. IMTS is renowned for gathering industry leaders to showcase cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, while Rapid+TCT is a hub for advancements in 3D printing and additive manufacturing. MILAM 2024 focuses on the intersection of aerospace and defense with advanced manufacturing solutions.
