We’re hiring a programmer with strong Siemens NX CAM experience to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on multi-axis machining and process optimization for complex, high-tolerance parts. If that’s your wheelhouse, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX for 3-axis and 5-axis machining.
- Interpret CAD models, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
- Validate toolpaths through simulation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to support manufacturing success.
- Create clear setup documentation and tooling strategies for machinists.
- Improve cycle times, machining reliability, and overall process performance.
- Support compliance with customer, quality, and internal manufacturing requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience using Siemens NX CAM for CNC programming.
- Availability to work both on-site and off-site as needed, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen.
- Strong background in 4-axis and 5-axis machining.
- Solid blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
- Experience machining complex, high-tolerance components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and refine machining processes for efficiency and quality. Preferred Qualifications • Siemens NX CAM certification or equivalent formal training.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with CMM inspection and dimensional feedback processes.
- ERP experience such as ProShop or similar systems.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
